Day 1 – Arrive Frankfurt

Fly from London to Frankfurt and transfer to vessel. Embarkation from 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Day 2 – Mannheim / Ludwigshafen

Mannheim: Mooring 7:30 a.m. – Casting off 6:30 p.m.

Excursion to Heidelberg with its picturesque old town and a visit to the famous castle.

Automotive history up close on the themed excursion “Bertha Benz” through Mannheim.

Day 3 – Strasbourg / Kehl

Strasbourg / Kehl: Mooring 9:00 a.m.

Guided city tour through Strasbourg with a visit to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame: Idyllic half-timbered alleys, cosy wine taverns and of course the impressive cathedral make a visit to this historic city one of a kind experience. The entire city centre of Strasbourg was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988 due to its diverse architecture. At the the Republic Square you can admire the Rhine Palace, the National Library and the Opera. Once you arrive at the Notre-Dame cathedral, your guide will explain in detail the special features and numerous interesting stories about construction and architecture. You will experience first hand when the astronomical clock strikes the "full" hour and different figures of the clock breathe life. After visiting the cathedral enjoy a bit of free time in this beautiful city.

Day 4 – Speyer

Strasbourg/Kehl: Casting off 4:00 a.m.

Speyer: Mooring 12:00 p.m. - Casting off 8:00 p.m.
Guided tour through the wonderful cathedral city of Speyer: The cathedral city of Speyer looks back on an eventful 2,000-year history, since it was the linchpin of German history in the Middle Ages. The landmark and most important building is the Speyer Imperial Cathedral. The largest Romanesque building in the world was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1981. At the turn of the century, the Holy Trinity Church was still called "unattractive". Today, however, it is considered a late baroque total work of art.

Day 5 – Cochem

Cochem: Mooring 1:00 p.m. - Casting off 10:00 p.m.

Journey through time through eight centuries on an excursion to the imposing Eltz castle.

Day 6 - Koblenz / Middle Rhine Valley / Rüdesheim

Koblenz: Mooring 6:00 a.m. - Casting off 1:00 p.m.
Guided tour through Koblenz. With more than 2,000 years of history, Koblenz is one of the oldest cities in Germany. Koblenz is located at the mouth of the Moselle and Rhine, the so-called "German Corner".The idyllic alleys between the St. Kastor basilica, the oldest church building in Koblenz, and the Liebfrauenkirche give Koblenz a special charm. After seeing the Schängelbrunnen at the town hall, you will take a cable car ride over the Rhine to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Experience Koblenz from a bird's eye view and then take a leisurely stroll through the fortress park.

Middle Rhine Valley:
Passage of the famous Loreley.

Rüdesheim: Mooring 7:00 p.m.
Admire the artistic and musical inventions of the past over a glass of wine – in “Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet”.

Day 7 – Rüdesheim / Mainz

Rüdesheim: Casting off 6:30 a.m.

Mainz: Mooring 9:30 a.m. - Casting off 11:30 p.m.
Mainz city tour with the magnificent St.Augustine's Church and visit to the Grand Mainz Saint Martin Cathedral.
“Cinematic guided tour” in Wiesbaden to original settings and film locations.

Day 8 – Frankfurt

Frankfurt: Mooring 5:00 a.m.
Disembarkation until 9:00 a.m. Transfer to Frankfurt Airport/Rail station for return journey home or extend your stay by adding a City Stay Package (prices on request).
