Guided tour “Highlights of Amsterdam” takes you to the district for which Amsterdam is famous for, the red light district De Wallen. Stroll through narrow old streets such as the well-known Zeedijk Street, past the oldest house in the city, over bridges from the Golden Age and see the locks over the cannals. The Zeedijk was once one of the most dangerous streets in Amsterdam where seafarers were looking for entertainment. Nowadays you will find lively and inviting Dutch pubs and
restaurants instead of the dark bars from back then. Amsterdam is traditional and cosmopolitan at the same time - a mixture that will inspire you to come back for more.

Day 4 – Cologne

Arrive 8:00am - Depart 2:00pm

On this guided tour you will experience Cologne with the beloved old and the functional new with traditional Kölsch beer. The cathedral city looks back on a history spanning over 2,000 years, which has left its mark all over the city and gives it unique character. Cologne developed into an important ecclesiastical and artistic center in the Middle Ages. The strategic location on the Rhine with its important west-east trade routes also contributed to Cologne's importance. The Cologne Cathedral has been the symbol of the metropolis on the Rhine and the most famous architectural monument in Germany for centuries. The cathedral is the second largest church building in Europe - after the Ulm Minster. It contains a three king shrine, in which the alleged relics of the three wise men are kept and therefore Cologne also bears three crowns in its coat of arms.

Day 5 – Koblenz

Arrive 10:00pm (day before) - Depart 1:00pm

Guided tour through Koblenz. With more than 2,000 years of history, Koblenz is one of the oldest cities in Germany. Koblenz is located at the mouth of the Moselle and Rhine, the so-called "German Corner". The idyllic alleys between the St. Kastor basilica, the oldest church building in Koblenz, and the Liebfrauenkirche give Koblenz a special charm. After seeing the Schängelbrunnen at the town hall, you will take a cable car ride over the Rhine to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Experience Koblenz from a bird's eye view and then take a leisurely stroll through the fortress park.

Admire the artistic and musical inventions of the past over a glass of wine – in “Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet”.

Day 6 - Rüdesheim

Arrive 7:30pm (day before) - Depart 7:00pm

Guided city tour through Strasbourg with a visit to the Cathedral of Notre-Dame: Idyllic half-timbered alleys, cozy wine taverns and of course the impressive cathedral make a visit to this historic city one of a kind experience. The entire city center of Strasbourg was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988 due to its diverse architecture. At the the Republic Square you can admire the Rhine Palace, the National Library and the Opera. Once you arrive at the Notre-Dame cathedral, your guide will explain in detail the special features and numerous interesting stories about construction and architecture. You will experience first hand when the astronomical clock strikes the "full" hour and different figures of the clock breathe life. After visiting the cathedral enjoy a bit of free time in this beautiful city.

From the art museum, take a short walk to the cathedral. Here you can learn interesting facts about one of Basel's landmarks, such as its exterior and interior architecture. In the red sandstone church is the tomb of Erasmus of Rotterdam. At the end of the city tour, a wonderful view of Basel and the Rhine is revealed from the "Pfalz-Terrasse" behind the cathedral.
