Day 1 – Arrive Paris
Paris: Casting off 08:00 p.m.
Fly or rail from London to Paris and transfer to vessel. Embarkation from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Day 2 – Rouen
Rouen: Mooring 4:00 p.m. - Casting off 7:00 p.m.
Guided tour through the "Gothic open-air museum" of Rouen with its numerous church towers and old half-timbered houses.
From St. Catherines's Hill we have a fine view over the city of Rouen with its many church towers and across the Seine Valley. In the historic centre we see some lovely half-timbered houses in the Rue du Gros-Horloge as well as the late Gothic cathedral with its many sculptured decorations and another Gothic masterpiece - the Palais de Justice.
Day 3 – Le Havre
Le Havre**: Mooring 5:00 a.m. - Casting off 7:00 p.m.
This excursion takes you to the attractive port and artists’ colony of Honfleur at the mouth of the Seine. Thanks to its historic harbour basin, its lovely narrow streets and traditional half-timbered houses it is one of Normandy’s most attractive towns. We walk to the ancient fishing port and through the Old Town to the unique late Gothic wooden church of St. Catherine, with its free-standing bell tower.
Visit to Le Havre with subsequent excursion to the picturesque seaside resort Étretat on the high Chalk Cliffs of the Albaster Coast.

Day 4 – Caudebec-en-Caux
Caudebec-en-Caux: Mooring 2:00 a.m. - Casting off 1:00 p.m.
Excursion to monastery road to see the impressive Jumièges monastry and St. Marton de Boscherville.
Already the French writer Victor Hugo has called the abbey of Jumièges "the most beautiful ruin of France". The imposing ruins still attract visitors and are a testimony to Romanesque architecture.In Saint-Martin de Boscherville, situated on a bend in the river, stands one of the finest Romanesque abbeys of Haute Normandy. We inspect the complex from the outside.
Rouen: Mooring 7:00 p.m. - Casting off 11:30 p.m.
Enjoy an evening of French chanson on board
Day 5 – Vernon
Rouen: Mooring 8:00 a.m. - Casting off 2:00 p.m.
Enjoy a visit to Monet's house and garden which was designed to provide a year-round display of flowers for his inspiration. We learn more about the life of Claude Monet while seeing some replicas of his impressive paintings.
Day 6 - Conflans-Sainte-Honorine / Paris
Conflans-Sainte-Honorine: Mooring 00:30 a.m. - Casting off 2:00 p.m.
Excursion to the historic "Château de Chantilly" as seen in the James Bond film 'A View to a Kill'.
Paris: Mooring 7:30 p.m.
Visit to a cabaret show in Paris in the evening.
Day 7 – Exploring Paris
The bus tour will show you the famous Eiffeltower, Arc du Triomphe, Notre Dame and the Champs-Élysee. A short walk through Parc du Luxembourg will introduce you to another side of this lively metropolis.
Guided tour through the cosmopolitan city of Paris: The French capital on the Seine is home to countless ecclesiastical and secular buildings, streets, squares, museums and parks which attract tourists from all over the world every day. The Seine promenade in Paris was added to the World Heritage List in 1991. During a city tour through the French metropolis with flair, you will see the most important sights, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Triumphboden, Notre Dame or the Champs-Élysées. With a short walk through the Parc du Luxembourg, you will enjoy the tranquility in the hectic city and let the many impressions of this unforgettable visit to the city of love take effect.
Montmartre excursion with a visit to the famous Sacré-Coeur Basilica.
Day 8 – Paris
Disembarkation until 9:00 a.m. Transfer to Paris Airport/Rail Station for return journey home or extend your stay in Paris with a City Stay Package (prices on request).
The excursions marked in bold are optional and can be booked individually on board at extra cost or can be pre-paid as an inclusive package (prices available on request). All other guided tours as described in the itinerary are included in the price. Arrival and departure times are guidance times. We reserve the right to change itineraries and excursion programmes. If a route cannot be travelled due to low/high water or a ship defect, the shipping company reserves the right to take passengers on this route by bus, to accommodate them in hotels and/or change the route. In certain circumstances it may be necessary to change to another ship.
