Just to the west of Albufeira lies the beautiful unspoilt countryside of Vale de Parra or 'Valley of Grapes'.
We have a large selection of villas in and around the surrounding villages. The closest beaches are Sao Rafael, Castelo and Gale which are some of the finest in the Algarve with their dramatic red sandstone cliffs. The more popular Gale beach runs for over 4 miles with wonderful beach bars dotted along the shore.
The pretty village of Castelo is situated 4km west of Albufeira.
Slightly inland from its dramatic coved beach with its fascinating red sandstone rock formations, the village boasts a number of good restaurants and a small selection of restaurants and bars. On the beach there is an excellent Beach Bar where one can take shelter from the midday sun and sample the local catch of the day.
The select Quinta dos Alamos estate is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Guia - famous for its wide choice of 'Chicken Piri Piri' restauarants.
The small development of similar styled private villas is surrouned by fields of almond and carob trees creating a delightfully tranquil setting.
The village of Guia is walkable and has a good selection of shops, restaurants and a daily fruit and vegetable market.
