The hotel is mainly built in wood and comprises of a main reception block housing the restaurant, lounge bar and a selection of independent ‘bungalow’ style rooms stepped into the hillside.The very spacious guest accommodation offers a variety of deluxe rooms and suites with either ‘garden’ or ‘bay’ views. Some of the deluxe rooms are interconnecting providing ideal family accommodation. Each has a good sized wooden decked balcony ideal for pre-dinner cocktails and enjoying the sunset.The main building leads out onto a large ‘lagoon’ style pool with magnificent sun terraces enabling guests to enjoy a high degree of privacy. The ground floor houses the renowned Choupana Hills Spa which has won several international awards since it was built (please see our ‘Spa Holidays’ section for details of special spa holidays at this hotel).The Xonapa Restaurant offers an interesting fusion of Oriental and European cuisine and the Basalt Bar serves drinks and less formal snacks throughout the day.
