Hotel Quinta das Vistas

This recently converted ‘manor house’ sits on the brow of a hill surrounded by trees and mature gardens cleverly landscaped into the hillside. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax being both spacious and enjoying a multitude of high quality facilities. Inside this classic style hotel you will find large traditionally furnished reception areas and lounges designed in such a way that guests can enjoy as much privacy as they want even when the hotel is full. The cocktail bar and gourmet restaurant lead out onto a magnificent semi-circular terrace where guests can watch the arrival and departure of the many large cruiseliners in Funchal bay whilst dining ‘al fresco’.

Within the extensive grounds are gardens featuring a network of cobbled paths, herb gardens, tall pine trees and water features including a spectacular cascading waterfall. There are small lawned areas dotted around the gardens, a crazy golf circuit and a duck pond with several residents!

The variety of 62 rooms are of the highest standard and the opulent Presidential Suite on the top floor has an enormous private terrace and garden.
