The Hotel Bahia Palace, built in 1986, was the first resort hotel in the Azores and is situated 18 km from Ponta Delgada. It stands in a commanding position overlooking the longest dark sandy beach on the island, the beach of Agus de Pau.
The Bahia Palace Hotel lies in a green area with plenty of surrounding gardens. Most of the rooms are Junior Suites along with 5 Senior Suites which are ideal for families comfortably accommodating up to 2 adults and 2 children.
