The Club, established in 1986, enjoys a privileged location nestling amongst pine-woods and the golf fairways of Quinta do Lago championship courses. The 1800 acres of the Quinta do Lago estate is partly embraced by the Ria Formose National Park, a protected nature reserve of 'World' importance.
The masterplan for Quinta do Lago allows for an environmentally friendly balance between residential construction and green sapce so helping to preserve one of the largest pine forests in Europe. The resort is flanked to the south by the estuary and sand dunes of the nature reserve. A wooden bridge crosses the estuary and leads to a vast sandy beach stretching several kilometres - all within a few minutes from the Country Club.
Properties are arranged in clusters within beautiful landscaped grounds and are equipped to high standards. There is a choice of one or two bedroom apartments and duplexes all with terrraces and patios. As a resident you become a temporary member of the club and therefore enjoy a 50% discount on green fees at Quinta do Lago and nearby Vila Sol.
